Grim-9™ Exothermic Shipboard Damage Control Pack VBSS TACTICAL TORCH SYSTEM

MSCD has developed the newest addition to our exothermic breaching line. The MSCD-GRIM-9 is a single cylinder 02 custom designed pack for shipboard and damage control uses. It is used in VBSS applications as well. This light weight (under 40lbs) torch will cut through almost any thickness of steel, alloy, or composite metallurgy. The rods burn at about 1,100 degrees and will burn, melt, or vaporize almost anything.
Exothermic torches were originally conceived for equipment maintenance applications involving rapid cutting of thick metals or unusual metal alloys. They have since been used in breaching applications for Law Enforcement, Military applications including VBSS and vehicle extraction, Fire Rescue, Urban Search and Rescue, and Ship Board Damage Control.

All breaching gear accessories have provisional patents submitted, and as such, are protected under patent law. "The Grim Breacher" is a trademark of Marine Services Commercial Diving, Inc.

Pelican ™ Watertight Protector™ Cases and Lights For 29 years Pelican has built a reputation for manufacturing the toughest Protector™ Cases in the world. As a matter of fact, Pelican invented the category. Over the years we’ve seen these cases used for some pretty crazy ideas… and important ones, too.

The Pelican Protector™ Case has been thrown out of helicopters in Iraq, towed along frigid fjords in Norway, and rolled over by SUV’s in Tanzania. With only a few scratches to show on the outside, contents are left unscathed. Minor war wounds for major bragging rights. And that is really what it’s all about: getting your gear from point A to point B in the condition it’s meant to be in -- intact and functional. Because it could be that large format camera that will shoot next month’s magazine cover, it could be sensitive operational military equipment, or a heart defibrillator that could produce results you can’t put a price on.

Pelican™ Lights

Pelican™ offers the toughest lights and cases in the world backed by the "Legendary Pelican Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee Of Excellence." From flashlights to professional lighting instruments, Pelican™ has the light or accessories for your needs.

Our Safety Approved Flashlights have more approvals than those of any other manufacturer. Know that when you enter a Class I or Class II location where flammable and combustible dusts are present, or a Class III environment with ignitable fibers, your Pelican™ flashlight will not be a source of ignition.
